Cheyenne is Hollywood bound!

Well, not for real...but maybe someday!

For those of you who don't know, American Idol has become a favorite show here at the Volpe home. Cheyenne has a new game that she loves to play---I like to call it: "I'm going to Hollywood!". I am so excited that I captured this new game to share with all of our blog viewers. So sit back and enjoy:

In case you can't see well...those are stuffed animal judges. And if you listen really close (over Ryker's stuffy breathing) you can hear her singing. I tried to follow her into the "Judge's Room" on another video and I got in trouble...I had to stay in the "Waiting Room".

Here is the victory chant:

Is she bound for stardom, or what?

Four Vaughns and a Birthday party...

...the perfect recipe for a wonderful weekend!

We are so grateful to have had this past weekend to spend some time catching up with our good friends the Vaughns. Time spent with Rob, Sarabeth, Cade and SaraGrace is never dull and always filled with laughter ...and this visit was no different. They were able to share Cheyenne's 4th birthday party with us, and Sarabeth even made a custom Tink cake for the birthday princess! Unfortunately I spent most of the weekend laughing my head off and not taking pictures, but I did manage to snap a few at the party yesterday.

BJ kickin' it gangsta Tink style!

Candy from the "Pee-yawna".
We want to thank the Vaughns for making he long trek here to Va. We had a blast visiting with you. And thank you Sarabeth for the beautiful cake. We are already looking forward to our next visit with your wonderful family!
We also want to take this time to give thanks to the Lord for our beautiful "almost 4-year-old"! She adds so much happiness to our world and we cherish each day we have with her! Words can not describe the pride that fills my heart when I look at her, but I am always quick to give God the credit for the amazing child that she is.
