Baby and mommy are doing great...and definitely growing!!! I will be 13 weeks tomorrow. We had a check-up with the doctor today. Everything seems well and we all --Cheyenne, Bryan and myself--got to hear the heart "BEEP" (as Cheyenne calls it)! It was so precious to hear our second miracle in the womb and to watch the face of our first miracle light up with a big smile when she heard the baby's heart beat. I can only imagine the moment they first meet face to face.
The baby's heart rate was between 155 and 160...and for those of you playing the gender guessing game...according to old wives tales a heart rate over 140 predicts that the baby is a girl ( ...or as my mom pointed out it may just be a high-strung boy like my brother Tyler! I love you, Tyler!!).
Here is a little update on our baby's development these week:
Your fully formed fetus, measures 2.6 to 3.1 inches from crown to rump and weighs between half an ounce and seven-tenths of an ounce -- about the size of a peach. The head is still disproportionately bigger than the body, but the rest of the body is starting to catch up. In fact, your baby is growing rapidly these days. The face is starting to look more human, with eyes moving closer together. Toes and fingers are clearly separate, and ankles and wrists have formed. External genitalia are becoming visible. Intestines are shifting into their proper place, too.

Here is my excuse...
So...I know that I have been a terrible blogger this week, but I have a good reason. We kicked off our new children's program at church, called Faith Farm! Faith Farm is a great program that uses unique characters, entertaining skits and fun songs to teach kids different Bible lessons. David, Brandi, Bryan and myself have been hard at work the past few weeks writing scripts, collecting props, and working on decorations and costumes. Faith Farm has been a lot of work, but it all payed of on Sunday as we watched 20 kids have a blast at church! Here are a few pics...

I love my Valentine!!!
Just wanted to share with you my beautiful Valentine's Day present!
Bryan snuck out of the house this morning while Cheyenne and I were still snoozing. When he returned he had a bear, candy and a card for Cheyenne...and also some goodies for me! He brought home a beautiful set of tulips...with a little something extra inside...
I love Bryan so much! Not because he buys me gorgeous jewelry, but be cause he always goes above and beyond to romance me and show his love for me! Thank you God for my perfect soul mate!

Baby Bump!
Whoa! It has been a whole week between posts! I need to pick up the pace!
I am starting to feel pretty great---a lot more energized, not so queasy and really beginning to enjoy being pregnant. Here is a pic of my growing belly at 10 weeks & 5 days:
Here is a little update on our baby's development this week:
Your fetus, about the size of a large lime, measures about 1.75 to 2.4 inches from crown to rump and weighs about three-tenths of an ounce. About now the rapid "swooshing" noises of the heartbeat may be heard using an electronic Doppler device. Fingernails and external genitalia are showing distinguishing characteristics, and the baby is swallowing and kicking, although you still won't feel it.
Our next Dr appt is on February 25th. Say tuned...

REAL snow!!
After all of those flurry teases... we finally had a real snow! All of the kids(...and Moms) were dying to go out and play! Since the snow started after our dinner with the McCormicks, the boys had not come prepared for snow play. But they did not mind borrowing Cheyenne's pink and purple snow jackets, as long as they could get outside and get their hands on that SNOW!!
Ready to go!
